Delete your OneGulf ID
OneGulf is an app for planning trips across the six Gulf countries. This page explains how to delete your OneGulf ID and everything in it, with the app or without it, and what deleting reaches.
In the app
Open Profile, then Manage your data, and tap Delete my account. A guest sees Delete my data instead. The app asks you to confirm twice, then deletes everything at once and clears the copy on your phone.
Without the app, with your phone number
If your OneGulf ID uses a phone number, enter it here. We send a code to that number by text message. Entering the code shows the account is yours, and you can then delete it on this page.
If you sign in with Apple
Delete your OneGulf ID in the app on your iPhone, as above. If the app is no longer there, write to us at privacy@onegulf.app.
If you haven’t saved a trip
Then you use OneGulf as a guest. Delete your data in the app with Delete my data, as above. For anything else, write to us at privacy@onegulf.app.
What deleting removes
At once and for good: your answers, including any about food, accessibility or prayer, your consents, your trips and their plans, your saved places, and your sign-in, which is your phone number or your link to Apple.
What we ask others to delete
If you ever allowed usage counting, we ask PostHog to delete the counts it holds under your account’s id. Until PostHog accepts, we keep only that id, in a list of deletions still to ask for, and we ask again until it does. Error reports in Sentry hold no account id, name or phone number, so they hold nothing of yours to delete.
What deleting doesn’t reach
- The text-message provider’s own record of the codes it sent.
- Our database backups, until they are replaced, within 7 days.
- The copy of your trip and answers that the app keeps on your phone, until you delete it there or remove the app.
- Your email on the OneGulf waitlist, if you joined it: it isn’t linked to your account. Write to privacy@onegulf.app and we’ll delete it.
